Datacenter Office Automation

Datacenter Office Automation (Work Location : Kulim High Tech Park, Kedah)
Job Objectives
  1. Analytical, articulate, result-oriented and provide excellent follow-up.
  2. Install, setup, diagnosis & troubleshoot IT clients, printers and peripherals within standard time frame
  3. Must be service oriented to assist the IT operation support.
  4. Escalation of issues to the IT OS CS team in order to resolve the issue to the user’s complete satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibility
  1. Rollout of  Standard Client (SC) including setup of computers, operating system installation and business software installation.
  2. Rollout of IT equipment such as printers and scanners.
  3. Second level support for user help desk
  4. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
  5. Gather information for reporting.
  6. Liaise with resident client engineer for project engagement.
  7. Support shall be primarily on Windows platform.
  8. Maintaining a good asset/inventory management.
Required Skill Sets
  1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in an IT related field or the equivalent skill and knowledge with 2-3 years of relevant experience
  2. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  3. Familiar with Windows Desktop Operating System and Active Directory.
  4. A team player that is able to work independently and under pressure. Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  5. Monitors, maintains, assist, assigns, responds, resolve and tracks helpdesk requests.
  6. Maintains a good software and hardware inventory management.
  7. Proficient in Hardware (PC, Printers & Peripherals) and Software (e.g. OS, Application, etc.) troubleshooting.
  8. Sharp analytical mind with good trouble-shooting skills
