Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science with 4+ years of experience in the area of either hardware design or verification.
- 2+ years of pre-si verification work using a validation methodology such as UVM, Specman E, VMM, AVM, OVM, System Verilog.
- Develops pre-Silicon functional validation tests to verify system will meet design requirements.
- Creates test plans for RTL validation, defining and running system simulation models, and finding and implementing corrective measures for failing RTL tests.
- Analyzes and uses results to modify testing.
- In this position, you will be a member of the Pre-silicon validation team in the Platform Engineering Group (PEG), responsible for functional correctness of next generation of memory buffer/controller for high end server platforms.
- Your responsibility will include but not be limited to:
- Validating designs at block or full-chip level by authoring validation plans, writing focus tests, creating templates defining coverage strategies, developing and analyzing coverage monitors, creating event injectors, writing architectural and micro-architectural correctness checkers, developing BFMs (Bus Functional Model), running functional simulations, and debugging failures.

- Ability to comprehend industry standards as well as internal micro-architecture specifications;
- strong command of assertion based pre-silicon verification methodology for SOC's;
- significant experience with all phases of digital logic development from concept and high-level specification to silicon to production.
- Knowledge of PC system architecture, CPU, Platform Controller Hub (PCH) architecture, x86 bus interfaces and SATA, USB and PCIe bus interfaces.
- Have a working understanding of, a Unix based design environment, typical digital design tools, test plan development, test writing/debug, tracking and resolution of design bugs.

- Knowledge and experience in oil terminal storage facility
- Knowledge and experience in tank truck loading system. Experience in handling FMC Smith Metering System include Accuload (Preset Controller) is advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in Process Logic Control (PLC) and Terminal Automation System
- Know-how on safe guard in-place for tank truck loading system i.e. ESD, Tank Truck Overfill Protection and Grounding System

- Project Management and Stewardship
- Leads and manages development and execution of capital projects & maintenance programs for all proprietary terminals in the area in accordance to CPDEP, CSOC, MOC and PHA processes and in compliance with Company, local regulatory and industry design and construction standards.
- Provides engineering expertise for project design and construction focuses on electrical and instrumentation, maintenance programs, and work with Procurement to ensure appropriate resources are available and secured.
- Manage service providers, e.g. consultants, and reviews service reports for effectiveness.
- Provide input regarding capital investments as to appropriateness of design and cost.
- Reviews project execution and cash flow with Area Leadership Team and Regional Engineering Support Coordinator.
- Performs timely Project Closeout and Look Backs
- Equipment Reliability, Contractor Stewardship and Process Implementation
- Oversees equipment reliability throughout proprietary/JVJO terminals in the Area to achieve safe, efficient and incident free terminal operations.
- Oversees implementation and execution of contractor performance and contractor safety management program by local terminal staff.
- Stewards maintenance/project contractors to ensure compliance to all legal and regulatory requirements and all applicable Corporate environmental, safety, health and commercial policies.
- Drives standardized processes, systems, metrics and improvement of environmental, safety and health performance.
- Oversees implementation and execution of Reliability, Maintenance and Inspection standards and processes in the Area.
- Develops capital plans, annual capital & maintenance budgets with Terminal Managers and Area Terminal Network & Training Specialist consistent with stakeholder strategies and terminal strategic plans.
- Ensures Capital projects & Maintenance programs are sufficiently documented (including alternatives considered, costs and contingencies, etc.) to facilitate accurate project Risk Ranking.
- Develops long range capital plan for each site with project plans in compliance to regulatory and CVX standards
- Proactively seeks continuous upgrade of individual technical competency.
- Ensures Area terminal personnel are properly trained in technical processes and equipment maintenance know-how.
- Leads to develop the engineering/maintenance competency of terminal operators.
- Participates in Engineering Practices Community of Practices forum to share knowledge and experience, adopt Best Practices from the Region and lead implementation in the terminals, identify and share Lessons Learned and best practices with Regional and COE groups and across the Area for the good of the enterprise
- Leads in activities as a result of MOC that involves asset changes.
- Ensures engineering and technical drawings are updated and properly stored.
